I’m Irina Vidineeva — a creative working across photography, art, design, and digital projects, currently based in Porto, Portugal.

I was born in Ukraine and have lived in several countries throughout my life. Each place has shaped the way I look at people, spaces, light, and everyday life. In 2023, I moved to Portugal, drawn by its natural beauty, ocean light, and slower rhythm.

I’ve never really felt the need to choose just one medium. Photography was one of the first ways I learned to explore people, femininity, intimacy, and the space between being seen and keeping something private. From there, my work naturally moved into exhibitions, visual projects, and other forms of making.

Over time, that curiosity took me in completely different directions — from creating photographic series and paintings to building a digital tool for making zines, developing visual identities, websites, and working as a creative director at Interpretica.

On the surface, these projects might look quite different. But for me, they are connected by the same thing: I like taking an idea, a feeling, or an observation and giving it a visual form. Sometimes that form is a photograph or a painting. Sometimes it’s a website, an app, an identity, or an entire creative project.

I like moving between these worlds. The medium changes, but the part that interests me stays the same — turning something that exists as an idea into something you can actually see, use, or experience.
